Yesterday was our 100 Day milestone! Lots has happened in the past 100 days.
We met up with our Site Manager, Simon on Thursday and he took us through the house. We took lots of photos around the house and posted a few here for you to see.
We walked through some of the defects found in the independent building inspection report. Some of the items have been fixed but there were still a few items that Simon needed to follow up on. Simon was very good in explaining the issues to us and he reassured us that he will get them rectified.
Many other people have said that having a good Site Manager makes a big difference to the construction phase. We have to say that Simon has been doing a really good job so far, both in progressing the build but at the same time ensuring we are getting a quality output.
Simon also took some time to explain things that have been completed and what is coming up next. The immediate items that will be commence are:
- Bricking to start Monday
- Electrical rough-in
- Putting up the sarking and colorbond roof for the rumpus, dining and outdoor areas.

Sitting room window frame and front door frame has been installed. You can also see the mound of sand for the bricking in the foreground.

Plumbing rough-in has been done throughout the house. This one is the laundry room and on the other side of the frame is the power room.
